COLLAGEN PAD

The CollaHeal™ Collagen Wound Dressing is a sterile, single-use dressing composed entirely of bovine collagen, designed to support wound healing through its favorable tissue affinity and excellent biocompatibility.

Key Features:

  • 100% Bovine Collagen: Ensures high biocompatibility and supports natural healing processes.
  • Porous Matrix: The cross-linked collagen structure forms a porous matrix that absorbs wound exudate, transforming into a soft, conformable gel sheet upon hydration.
  • Malleable and Absorbent: Maintains a moist wound environment, protecting the wound and supporting natural healing.
  • Biodegradable: The dressing is biodegradable, eliminating the need for removal and reducing patient discomfort.

Mechanism of Action:

When the dressing absorbs wound exudate or sterile water, it transforms into a soft, conformable gel sheet. This gel sheet maintains a moist wound environment, protecting the wound and supporting natural healing.
