The HydraPad™ Super Absorbent Dressing is a sterile, high-capacity dressing designed for the management of moderately to heavily exuding wounds.
Key Features:
- Multi-Layered Construction: Consists of a waterproof protective backing, super absorbent core, nonwoven layer, and CuraSil™ silicone contact layer, facilitating optimal fluid management and faster wound closure.
- High Absorption Capacity: The super absorbent core can absorb up to 180g per 100 cm², reducing the frequency of dressing changes.
- CuraSil™ Technology (Adherent Variant Only): CuraSil™ silicone layer allows exudate to pass through to absorptive core without sticking to the wound. This provides gentle care for fragile and sensitive skin.

HydraPad™ Dressing creates a controlled healing environment by managing excess fluid while preserving the integrity of surrounding skin. This balance helps support the body’s natural repair processes and promotes more efficient wound closure.
Indications:
HydraPad™ Super Absorbent Dressing is indicated for the management of moderately to heavily exuding wounds, including:
- Leg ulcers
- Pressure ulcers
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Surgical wounds
Contraindications:
- Not recommended for dry or low exuding wounds
- Do not place in wound cavities as the dressing will swell with absorption
- Not recommended for third-degree burns
- Should not be used on individuals with known allergies or hypersensitivity to the dressing or its components
Instructions for Use:
Non-Adherent & Adherent
1. Clean the wound with sterile saline water and dry surrounding skin gently.
2. Select the appropriate size of the dressing to cover the wound adequately. May be used as a primary or secondary dressing.
3. For primary dressing use, ensure direct contact with the wound bed for optimal fluid absorption.
4. Secure either dressing variation with an appropriate bandage, tape, or compression dressing.
5. Change the dressing based on the level of wound exudate.
6. To remove, moisten with saline solution if needed. Dispose of according to local regulations.
