Indications:
CollaHeal AG™ Collagen Wound Dressing is intended for the management of wounds, including:
- Pressure ulcers
- Diabetic ulcers
- Venous/arterial leg ulcers
- Post-surgical wounds
- Donor sites
- Skin abrasions
- Burns (1st and 2nd degree)
Contraindications:
- Patients with known sensitivity to silver
- Do not use on patients with sensitivity to bovine collagen
Instructions for Use:
1. Clean the wound with sterile saline water and dry surrounding skin gently.
2. Select the appropriate size of the dressing to cover the wound adequately. Cut dressing to match wound area if needed.
3. Apply the dressing directly to the wound bed and rehydrate the dressing with sterile water or saline if the wound bed is dry.
4. Cover and secure dressing (non-adhesive) with a non-occlusive secondary dressing, if needed.
5. Change the dressing as recommended by healthcare professionals or when it becomes saturated. The dressing may last up to 7 days in the wound.
