SILICONE FOAM DRESSING

The CuraFoam™ Silicone Foam Dressing is designed for a wide range of exuding wounds, offering excellent capacity and dynamic fluid management.

Composition:

  • Silicone Wound Contact Layer: Provides gentle adherence, minimizing pain and trauma during dressing changes.
  • Super Absorbent Pad: Superior absorption capabilities to lock exudates away.
  • Polyurethane Foam: Offers cushioning and additional absorption.
  • Vapor Permeable and Waterproof Polyurethane Film: Ensures a moist wound environment while protecting against external contaminants.

The dressing can also be used on dry/necrotic wounds in combination with gels.

Contraindications:

Do not use CuraFoam™ Silicone Foam Dressing on patients with a known sensitivity to the contents of the dressing.

Product Variants:

CuraFoam® offers various types of silicone foam dressings with OptiSil, including different shapes, absorption cores, and thicknesses (Extra/Lite). These designs fit various difficult dressing areas, such as elbows, heels, and sacrum, making dressing changes untroubled.

Instructions for Use:

1. Clean the wound area as per standard medical procedures.

2. Select the appropriate size of the dressing to cover the wound adequately.
3. Remove the protective backing from the dressing
4. Apply the dressing to the wound, ensuring full contact with the wound bed.
5. Secure the dressing in place, ensuring it adheres well to the surrounding skin.
6. Change the dressing as recommended by healthcare professionals or when it becomes saturated.
